What to expect
Upon arrival, the slim dasher will prop open the portable table bed and begin to prepare for session. Treatments usually last between 30-60 minutes per area with a maximum of 2 areas per visit. Beginning treatment, the slim dasher will apply the ultrasound gel on the area being treated and begin gliding the specific probe needed. You may feel slight tingles, warming sensation and while using cavitation, you may hear a low ringing in your ear from the sound waves. It is completely tolerable and if you experience any sensitivity to any of those things, the treatment can be adjusted to your comfort level. After the slim dasher has finished, everything is disinfected and packed away. Leaving you to kick back and relax as your body does the rest of the work. You may continue with life as usual as there are no restrictions except for avoiding excessive heat such as saunas, very hot showers, tanning beds or sun bathing for 72 hours. Drinking extra water is also recommended.
BEFORE session
Avoid alcohol, caffeine or sun tanning 24 hours before your appointment. Sun burned skin will need to wait for skin to be healed before a session. If you are on any medications, consult with your doctor before your appointment day. Most medications will not interfere but it is always best to be sure. Do not eat a big meal before session. Light meal an hour prior is safe. Please cleanse the area and keep it clear of any lotion, makeup or oils.
